Advanced Trader : Trading Interface
Advanced Trader enables easy trading for any style of trader. This brief video shows your options. Once you decide to open a position, there are three different methods – using the trading box, Placing an Order, or trading directly from the chart. In the following, we’ll look at how each option works. For spot trades, the most common method is to use the trading box. Simply select your trade size and to execute the trade immediately at market price. Here is the order confirmation. When you have lead time, you can use the Place Order menu or order list.
Advanced Trader : Charting & Indicators
"The power of charting is brought to your fingertips by the Forex trading platform Advanced Trader. You can use charting to explore or inspire trade ideas by using the many built-in tools and indicators, including Japanese candlestick patterns. Select your desired forex currency cross in the upper toolbar. This is where you define the chart’s settings, add indicators and overlays, or create alerts et cetera. The lower toolbar enables you to save your chart settings, export and print your chart.
Introduction to Advanced Trader
The Forex trading platform Advanced Trader provides new and experienced traders everything necessary to decide and place trades. A single screen provides a clear overview, and details are easily available. For example, your charts – which you can learn more about in a separate video – can support and inspire trades, while your Open Positions Summary, order book and trade log provide transparency on your current account status, which is also shown. Keep an eye on the Market News and the live trading quotes while you decide on your trades.
MT5 Indicators & Templates
This video will show how to create a trading environment that plays to your strengths as a trader. This default combination of information and functionality enables you to easily decide and trade. You can create specialized “profiles” for each market, instrument or strategy that you want to explore and trade. Such a “profile” remembers which charts you have where. For example, you can have a profile for EURUSD trading, and one for commodities. You can easily switch between the profiles by right-clicking and selecting “next”, or by pressing Control and F5.
MT5 Charting & Technical Tools
This video provides a brief overview of the many options available when analyzing charts on the MetaTrader five trading platform. A different video shows how to apply technical indicators and to save your chart preferences as templates. Overall chart settings for the platform are found in the Options menu. These settings affect only charts, not platform operations as a whole. Details for each chart are defined in the Charts menu or in the chart itself. You can open up to 100 charts of currency and stock quotes at a time.
MT5 & Expert Advisors
This video will show how to install and run an “Expert Advisor”. On the Metatrader platforms, an Expert Advisor is an add-on that automatically executes orders generated by an algorithm based on signals or indicators. In other words, an expert advisor is different from so-called custom indicators, scripts and signals, which you can explore separately. Advantages of using Expert Advisors are that such trading robots ensure that trading is based on strategy and not emotions; and their analysis of price data is much faster than a human can manage.
Introduction to MT5
On the trading platform MetaTrader5, everything you need to decide and place trades is available. Here is the overview of trading instruments, the charts and the account overview What sets MetaTrader 5 apart is how easy it is to customize your trading interface to your preferences, and the flexibility it offers. For example, to customize your trading environment, simply click View and select the information you want to display when you trade. A different video will show how to save your preference for candlesticks, or time frames, or different markets or time zones.
